Welcome

The Phylloxera and Grape Industry Board of South Australia (PGIBSA) is committed to minimising the risk of pests and diseases (in particular Phylloxera) in South Australian vineyards and providing effective pest and disease management policies, information on best practice biosecurity measures and current research.

The Phylloxera and Grape Industry Act (1995) provides the legislative foundation from which the PGIBSA obtains it powers and functions and is responsible to the South Australian Parliament through the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries.
