The South Australian Wine Grape Utilisation and Pricing Survey

Each year the Phylloxera and Grape Industry Board publishes the South Australian Winegrape Utilisation and Pricing Survey. Since 2008 the production of the survey has been fully funded by the South Australian Wine Industry Association, the Wine Grape Council of SA Inc and PIRSA. This important industry document is an essential planning reference and includes:

  • Regional vintage statistics by variety
  • State summary statistics by variety
  • Average purchase value per tonne for each variety, and total value of the crush in each region
  • Planting details for the state and each region
  • Historical trends and comparisons with previous vintages
  • Projections of supply and demand over a five year forecast period
